I love to travel.  I love experiencing new places and people and learning about customs, history, and cuisine. Traveling is something my family loves doing together. Unfortunately, traveling with a concussion, PCS, migraine, and/or chronic pain can be challenging and painful.

This summer I spent three weeks in South Africa and wanted to compile some of my travel tips and tricks, specifically for flying

Sunglasses and PCS

Winter or summer, rain or shine, you will almost always catch me wearing sunglasses. So much so that it’s become a joke with all of my friends and sunglasses have become my “thing.” It took me a while post-concussion to realize how much sunglasses matter.

My brain pledge

I’m eighteen, I’m happy, I’m a high school senior. I love spending time with friends, I enjoy playing tennis and watching sports, and I’m healthy. Yet nestled between my high school ID and my gym card, I now carry a brain pledge card in my wallet. Here’s why.
